Timothy McDonald is a retired founding partner and Managing Director of Weeden & Co. Mr. McDonald began his career on Wall St. as a sales trader at Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook & Weeden in 1979. In 1986 he left Moseley to become one of the founding partners and Managing Director of the current Weeden & Co. LP.
Mr. McDonald led the Institutional sales effort at Weeden for much of the next 10 years, and was the firm’s top producing sales trader for that time. In 2000, Mr. McDonald relocated from Greenwich, Weeden’s home office, to run the firm’s Boston office. He retired from Weeden & Co. in 2007.
Mr. McDonald graduated with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Albany Business College in 1975. He also attended the State University of New York at Utica/Rome where he majored in Managerial Finance and Business Administration.
