Dion Albanese

Dion Albanese is a Senior Managing Director of Weeden & Co., and head of the Program Trading Desk and part of the team that directs the Program Trading Group. He spearheads the development of trading strategies for clients and orchestrates their implementation on a daily basis. As an employee with Weeden & Co. for over 20 years, Dion was one of the architects of the firm’s program trading business.

Dion’s knowledge of the mechanics of trading, particularly in the electronic realm, was formed in the beginning of his career, first an options trader, and then as a block trader on Weeden's Listed Equity desk. He began his career on Wall St. in 1984 at Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook & Weeden, the predecessor to the current Weeden & Co.

Dion earned his BA in marketing from Pace University.
