Lance F. Lonergan
Lance F. Lonergan is the Chief Executive Officer of Weeden & Co. LP. Lance joined Weeden in 2007 after 15 years at Citigroup where he worked in various capacities — first as a salesman in the Institutional equity trading team, and then as a Managing Director and Head of NASDAQ sales trading. In 2002, Lance was promoted to Head of U.S. sales and trading in New York with responsibility for a team of over 150 people.
At Weeden, Lance is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic direction, while managing all aspects of client relationships and risk management. Lance is a member of the National Organization of Investment Professionals (NOIP), speaks on numerous industry panels, and serves on Pragma Securities Board of Directors.
Lance attended Penn State University on an athletic scholarship and was a member of Penn State’s National Championship football team in 1986. He graduated in 1989 with a BS in Finance and then became a graduate assistant coach while earning his MBA in 1991. Lance is currently a Squad Leader for Catch A Lift Fund, an organization that serves post 9/11 wounded combat veterans. He resides in Westport, CT with his wife, Anne, and their four children.
