Robert Dia

Robert Dia is Senior Fixed Income Desk Analyst at Weeden & Co. He has over 15 years of investment experience analyzing multiple sectors across the capital structure, and his analytical background ranges across a variety of investment disciplines from equity long/short, credit, special situations and event-driven strategies.

From August 2002 to 2009, Robert was head of proprietary desk research for Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for investment and security analysis for convertible bonds, equities, and equity derivatives. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Robert was a senior high yield analyst at Goldman, Sachs from 1996 to 2001, covering supermarkets, retail, textile and consumer product companies. Robert started his career at JP Morgan as an equity analyst where he covered the supermarket and drug store sector.

Mr. Dia holds a BS degree in Economics and Finance from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
