The Wall Street Journal has ranked Matt four times as one of the Top Stock Pickers in the Oil Service Industry, in 1997 (#2), 1999 (#1),  2004 (#2), and 2005 (#2). Prior to his career as a Research Analyst, Matt worked as an investment banker in the energy industry, serving clients in the Pipeline, E&P, Service and Drilling industries. He was graduated from Williams College in 1991 with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics and received his CFA charter in 1996.
